Agriculture commodities: Orange, everybody loves the fruit - An orange, especially the sweet orange is Citrus sinensis x Citrus (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck) and fruit. It is the fruit of a tree widely grown in the world. The orange is a hybrid of ancient origin, culture, possibly between pomelo (Citrus maxima) and mandarin (Citrus reticulata). It is an evergreen flowering generally increasing to 9.10 m in height (although very old specimens have reached 15 m). The leaves are alternate, ovate in shape with toothed margins and 4-10 cm long. The orange fruit is a hesperidium, a kind of bay.

The orange trees are commonly grown in tropical and subtropical fruit for delicious candy, which are peeled or cut (to avoid the bitter bark) and eaten whole or processed to extract the orange juice, and also for skin scented . In 2008, 68.5 million tons of oranges are grown worldwide, mainly in Brazil and Florida State in the United States.

Orange probably originated in Southeast Asia and is cultivated in China in 2500 BC. The fruit of Citrus sinensis is called sweet orange to distinguish it from Citrus aurantium, bitter orange. The name is thought to derive ultimately from the Sanskrit word for orange, with its final form developing after passing through numerous intermediate languages.
