Commercial Industry of Alcohol - The alcohol industry is a term used to describe the commercial sector, which is engaged in manufacturing, distribution and sale of alcohol. The industry has been criticized in 1990, guiding the focus from consumption of alcohol. The alcohol industry has also been criticized for helping to reduce alcohol harm. 

The World Bank operates and invests in projects in the field of alcohol, while the positive effects of public health problems and social policy are shown. The alcohol industry-sponsored training to reduce alcohol harm actually cause damage to the growth of alcohol. Consequently, it is recommended that the alcohol industry should not be involved in alcohol policy, or educational programs. 

New British Labour Government believes that cooperation with the alcohol industry to reduce the harm was the most effective strategy. However, alcohol-related harm and alcohol abuse increased.

The alcohol industry has been accused of using tactics similar to those of the pharmaceutical industry to exaggerate the benefits of alcohol is considered a drug with potentially dangerous recreational potentially serious adverse health effects. (@ agriculture commodities)
